Engagement ring, consisting
of a 0.51 carat round diamond of SI-2 clarity and H color, set in a simple size 6, 4-prong "tiffany"
style 14 Karat yellow gold ring, weighing 1.4 grams.
This is essentially the sale of the diamond, because
the ring is simple and worn. This diamond normally would sell for about $1500, but we can't, in good faith
sell it for that. Even though one of the blemishes making it an SI-2 is a
"natural crystal void" (click for photo) that is on
the stone surface (this is not a chip), and not visible to the naked eye,
we still feel that it should sell for less than a
stone without this type of blemish.
